Job Description:
– Coordinate preventative health, safety, and wellness programs to drive a reduction in work related injuries
– Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and ensure they are updated in line with changes in the legislation and company directives
– Effectively manage the site environmental program, including governance of projects, and data reporting of site environmental metrics
– Plan, implement, and conduct preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs
– Performs risk assessment
– Support the development of health related policies and Standard Operating Procedures for the site including the delivery of training where necessary
– Management, maintenance, and administration of medical equipment and consumables in line with legal and medical standards including audit of equipment and storing, dispensing, administering, and safe disposal of medicines
– Assess plant risk for health issues or any occupational related illness, acting upon the assessment and controlling them through proper preventive measures
Qualification Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems
Experience: 5 or more years (HSE in a FMCG industry)
