JOB DETAILS:
Position Title: Deputy General Manager Commercial
Department: Commercial
- JOB OBJECTIVE:
The incumbent holding this office serves as the lead for commercial aspects. The incumbent shall be responsible to oversee the liaising with suppliers and managing the terms of agreements. The position shall ascertain long and medium-term contract signoff to meet the identified demand.
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Review the commercial terms in finalization of Gas Sales & Purchase Agreements (GSPA), Crude Oil/Condensate Sales Agreement (COSA), Gas Pricing Agreements (GPA) and LPG agreements/terms.
- To assist in negotiating Gas Sales and Gas Pricing Agreements with customers, partners and the government.
- To check and review Gas pricing, Oil pricing calculations and determination in accordance with relevant agreement and applicable policies.
- Provide input/Comments on various Agreements to ensure that all commercial arrangements / agreement with joint venture partners are in line with relevant petroleum policies, PCA’s, JOA’s and applicable rules.
- Collaborates and coordinates with diverse teams (Finance, Legal, Technical etc.)
- Liaison with the JV operators/partners/ regulator/ other government offices on commercial matters
- To attend TCM/OCM/MCM of Joint Ventures wherever commercial input is required.
- To cater for GHPL’s mandatory working interests in different licenses / leases under different Petroleum Policies / Rules and to execute relevant agreements in this regard.
- To support and develop new value enhancement projects with respect to Commercial for the organization such as LPG marketing, etc.
- To stay up to date on Pakistan’s energy market and key developments.
- To use market understanding to pro-actively position the business for optimum commercial advantage.
- To develop and deliver management / business presentations.
- Develop and communicate strategies with different stakeholders to manage risks
- Ensures compliance with contracting guidelines or obtains deviations when necessary
- Undertake any other job assigned by the Management.
- QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
16 years of Education with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
Minimum Experience:
10 years of relevant experience in commercial domain in the Oil & Gas Industry.
